Solange has been named the 2018 Harvard Foundation Artist of the Year.
The annual award is selected by the students and faculty of the Harvard Foundation for Intercultural and Race Relations at Harvard University, with previous honourees including Viola Davis, Queen Latifah, Jackie Chan, Shakira, and John Legend.
Solange will accept the award on 3rd March at a ceremony during Harvard’s annual Cultural Rhythms festival. She’ll hit the UK later this year when she headlines Latitude festival in July.
