SON Estrella Galicia and Paper Dress Vintage have joined forces for a second event this November with DEADLETTER and Melenas

The two brands have teamed up for a night of live music, beer culture and sustainability.

SON Estrella Galicia and Paper Dress Vintage have continued to work together to host a new event, featuring DEADLETTER and Melenas.

The event, which is set for 24th November, follows from a successful event launch back in June, headed by Dream Wife and Belako. This will be the second in a series of collaborations between SON Estrella Galicia and Paper Dress Vintage, the iconic Hackney Venue. Catch the highlights of that event below.

It aims to bring Spanish beer culture and artists from both the UK and Spain together in a cultural exchange, showcasing incredible live music and also prioritising sustainability.

Paper Dress Vintage’s storefront will be cultivated into a recycling atelier, whilst gig-goers are encouraged to bring old records, CDs and cassettes to be traded for limited edition recycled merchandise.

DEADLETTER will head up the evening having just released their debut EP the week before — ‘Heat!’ is scheduled for release on 18th November. Alongside them, Spanish natives Melenas will bring their own fuzzy brand of psych to the show.

Speaking on the ongoing collaborations, Victor Mantiñán, Head of Global Music Sponsorship at Estrella Galicia says: “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Paper Dress Vintage. Passion for beer, positive impact and support for new talent are fundamental axes of the SON Estrella Galicia brand and with Paper Dress’ position at the forefront of promoting emerging artists in London along with their commitment to recycled clothing, passion for beer and positive impact, we’ve found the perfect partner.”

Co-owner of Paper Dress Vintage, Stephen Dix, adds: “We’re buzzing to be hosting one of the most exciting new bands on the scene at the moment in DEADLETTER, and love that we’re pairing them with an awesome band from Spain – it’s increasingly difficult for artists to tour internationally these days and we’re happy to be a part of giving them a platform to perform, don’t miss this one!”

Tickets will be available via Dice from 10am on Friday 4th November.
