spill tab has dropped her new track ‘Sunburn’, and news of a London headline show

She'll be over for The Great Escape in May.

spill tab has dropped her first new single of the year, the follow-up to last year’s excellent ‘Bonnie’ EP.

Co-produced with Solomonphonic (Remi Wolf, Dora Jar, Wallows), ‘Sunburn’ comes alongside news of headline dates in London and Paris, too, around her set at The Great Escape.

“I had a lot of fun making this with Solomonophonic,” she explains, “he’s been a homie for a while, and I’m such a fan of everything he works on so I was stoked to work together. He’s such an energetic and dynamic person which translates into music, and we both wanted to make something loud and a bit weird. So we started making ‘Sunburn’ on one of his synths running through with a weird ass pedal he had just gotten and went from there. The lyrics come from a place of unsettledness and frustration, which felt like it matched the energy of the instruments.”

Check out the new track below, and catch spill tab live at the following:

MAY
09 London, The Grace
11 – 13 Brighton, The Great Escape
