Reading & Leeds have announced a new batch of acts for 2021.
In amongst the new additions are the likes of Girl In Red, Sports Team, The Wombats, Bloxx, Nova Twins, Gerry Cinnamon and Hot Milk.
There’s also room for Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Crucast, Dreya Mac, Gallows, Ivorian Doll, KSI, Niko B and Solardo.
The festival had already announced 6 headliners across two main stages. Returning from the 2020 bill, Stormzy and Liam Gallagher are retained for next year’s event, and will be joined by Post Malone, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Disclosure and Queens of the Stone Age.
Elsewhere on the bill are Two Door Cinema Club, Lewis Capaldi, Beabadoobee, Charli XCX, Yungblud, Sigrid, Neck Deep, 100 Gecs, Ashnikko, AJ Tracey, Doja Cat, Da Baby, Fever 333, Mabel, Sofi Tukker, Lyra, Madison Beer. MK and Jack Harlow, with more names across music and comedy to be announced.
In promoting the event last month, organiser Melvin Benn claimed this would be ‘the most all encompassing and inclusive Reading & Leeds line-up ever’. However, despite growing criticism in recent years 2021’s bill continues a run of male-only headline acts that goes back to Paramore’s 2014 co-headline slot, which saw them close the main stage in Leeds.
Reading & Leeds 2021 will take place between 27th-29th August. You can check out the full line-up in the poster below.
