Sports Team have dropped a brand new track, ‘The Game’.

Already played live over recent months, it’s taken from their second album ‘Gulp!’, which is released on 22nd July. It follows up on lead single ‘R Entertainment’, which arrived earlier this year.

“It’s a mantra for a ‘nation of landlords’” the band explain. “Something to mutter to yourself behind the electric gates as the world burns around you. It’s that bunkered, “island mentality”, where someone has allowed themselves to believe that the news is what happens to other people.”

It comes alongside a video starring cult 70s punk legend John Otway as a game show host. Yes, that is very Sports Team, isn’t it?

You can check out ‘The Game’ below.
