Sad news, Dear Readers. Former – and first ever(!) – Dork cover stars Spring King have announced they’re to split.
A statement reads:
“After many years together, we have decided to call it a day
Over the past 5 years we have toured around the world and along the way met many friends. From our first show at The Castle, to performing live on Jools Holland or playing in numerous countries as close as France and as far as Australia, we have experienced so many incredible moments.
We are thankful for everyone that has come to our shows, screamed at the top of their lungs, bought our music and joined the spirit of the band in the pit. Your support was something we never took for granted and we are immeasurably greatful and will take that sense of positivity and energy forward into whatever we do next.”
The band have announced they’re cancelling their last two remaining shows in London and Manchester next year, saying “it would be a disservice to the music and to all of you if our hearts weren’t fully in it”.
