Stella Donnelly has teamed up with Julia Jacklin for her new video for ‘Tricks’

Both have new albums on the way.

Stella Donnelly has released a new video for her song ‘Tricks’.

Shot in Melbourne by Nick McKk and Julia Jacklin, it’s a track from her upcoming debut album ‘Beware Of The Dogs’, out on 8th March via Secretly Canadian.

“I wanted to have a dancer in the style of an Australia tap dog following Stella around Melbourne and trying to get her attention as she goes about her day. Is he real? Is he in her imagination? Not sure,“ says Julia Jacklin.

Stella adds: “This song is a playful zoom-in on the ‘Australian Idenitity’ and a loose dig at the morons that used to yell sh*t at me when I played cover gigs on Sunday afternoons. It probably served me right for singing ‘Wonderwall’ every weekend.”

Check out the video below, and read interviews with both Julia and Stella in the March issue of Dork, out now.
