The Stone Roses announce three mammoth UK shows for 2017

Stadiums beware, the Roses are blooming again.
The Stone Roses like to pop in and drop some big news don’t they? After the stellar run of homecoming shows at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium earlier in the summer, the Mancunion icons have now announced three massive dates for 2017.

Kicking things off in Belfast on 13th June, the Roses will call into Wembley Stadium on 17th June before another huge stadium show at Glasgow’s Hampden Park on 24th June.

Hmm, all falling around a certain festival so it seems…

It comes after a 2016 which has seen the band release their first new music in over 20 years in the form of ‘All For One’ and ‘Beautiful Thing’, heavily rumoured to be taken from an upcoming third studio album which could be due, well, at anytime now.

They’ll round out the year (which also saw them headline T In The Park and play New York’s Madison Square Garden) with a trio of dates at the Sydney Opera House in December. Not bad going eh?!

Tickets for the summer 2017 shows are on sale from Friday (30th September), so dust off them bucket hats and get your lemons ready – you’ve had plenty of warning.
