Stormzy has released a music video for the title track of his new album, ‘This Is What I Mean’

Stormzy has shared new visuals for ‘This Is What I Mean’, the title track of his recently released third album.

The 12-track project was preceded by two singles – ‘Hide & Seek’ and ‘Firebabe’ – before arriving in full on November 25th via 0207 Def Jam/Interscope Records.

The London grime artist released a statement alongside the release, saying: “I am not a calculated mastermind with the ability to gauge what kind of music to make and when I’ll make it, I literally just feel and then let it out. People been tryna box me in for years but I hope this chapter at least makes my biggest critic say ‘hey, he’s shit but he loves music and I guess he’s gonna do whatever he likes’” – you can read his message in full below:

On November 28th, the record’s title track received a music video accompaniment, featuring Stormzy alongside Jacob Collier, Amaarae, Black Sherif, Ms. Banks, and Storry.

Over the release weekend (November 25th-27th), Stormzy held a free-to-attend pop-up space in London’s Regent Street to promote his new album with live performances, conversations, and other immersive experiences. He was recently featured in a new series of special BBC programming celebrating his music, cultural significance, and new material – find out more here.

The rapper is set to curate his own day of music celebrations with ‘This Is What We Mean Day’, his UK exclusive performance for 2023, which will be held at London’s Victoria Park on Friday, August 18th – tickets are now available here.
