Stormzy has the Number 1 album in the country

Croydon's crown prince beat out competition from Rag ‘n’ Bone Man for a historic top slot
Sealing a week which has seen Stormzy become the hottest voice in British music, his debut album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ has gone straight in at Number 1 in the Album Charts.

The Croydon wordsmith beat out competition from Rag ‘n’ Bone Man (in one of the closest chart races in a long time) to snatch the top spot, marking ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ out as the first out and out grime album to make it to the top spot.

Stormzy is set to take ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ out on the road later in the month, storming (eyy, we couldn’t hold out any longer…) across the UK and Ireland from March 29th, running through April before rounding things out with three nights at London’s Brixton Academy on May 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.

Oh, and by the way, the whole tour is sold out. Big time moves right there.
