The Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi starts new band CRX

The Strokes’ Nick Valensi has started a new band.

The guitarist is the last member of the New Yorke troupe to brand out on his own away from the day job, starting a new group called CRX.

The five piece also features The Dose drummer Ralph Alexander, Guards and Willowz guitarist Richie James Follin, LA musician Darian Zahedi, and The Reflections’ Jon Safley.

So far they’ve debuted a lovely logo and a brash press shot. No music though. So very 2016.
