Suede are going to release a new studio album this September

Apparently it features spoken word...
Suede have announced a brand new album, the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Night Thoughts’.

‘The Blue Hour’ was produced by Alan Moulder at Assault & Battery Studios, and will be released on 21st September via Warner Music.

According to the record’s blurb, it sees the group “explore new ground”, featuring a choir, spoken word, and string arrangements.

“The Blue Hour is the time of day when the light is fading and night is closing in,” the band explain. “The songs hint at a narrative but never quite reveal it and never quite explain. But as with any Suede album, it’s always about the songwriting. The band, the passion and the noise: The Blue Hour’.”
