Sundara Karma try their hands at witchcraft in the new video for ‘Illusions’

It's not Halloween yet, guys.

Sundara Karma have released a new video for their comeback track, ‘Illusions’.

It’s an early cut from the follow-up to 2017 debut ‘Youth Is Only Ever Fun In Retrospect’, which is expected to land sometime next year.

Lead singer Oscar Pollock explains: “The song is a groovy slow pumper, our best effort ever at being both sensual and enlightening. In times of horror and uncertainty we need love and positivity and the ability to recognise that everything around us is temporary. I like to think we are not separate from one another, every single thing we do affects the people and the world around us. From macro to micro – from our inner world to the outer world. Easier said than done and much easier sung than said.”

Sundara will showcase new material from their forthcoming second album with a special ‘Halloween underplay show’ at London’s Omeara on 24th October.

You can read more from the band in the November issue of Dork, out now. This month also features Maggie Rogers, LANY, Kurt Vile, Blaenavon, and loads more.
