Swim Deep are going to play a London show next week, and they’ve also a new song ready to go.
“Playin’ a show in London next week!” they reveal on Twitter. “Venue TBA. New song. New show. Different hair styles. Changed underwear. New lippy.”
The group recently shared a playlist of songs that have influenced them while working on their new record; the follow-up to 2013 debut ‘Where the Heaven Are We’ and 2015’s ‘Mothers’.
“Been waiting to share this with you,” they explain, “it’s a playlist of songs that we have added to over this past year, since our songs have come to life and everything has been falling into place. Every 1 of these songs has influenced us and our music in different ways.”
The massive 200-song playlist features inclusions from Prince, The Jacksons, Super Furry Animals, Hatch, Pulp, Bee Gees, Donna Summer, ABBA, The Stone Roses, Nick Cave, and, obviously, loads more – check it out after the jump.
