Talk Show have announced a debut EP and dropped a brand new track

'Banshee' is the first taster of the forthcoming 'These People', which is set to arrive in March.

Fresh off their inclusion in Dork’s Hype List for 2020 – and, y’know, probably some other stuff too, priorities and that – the magnificent Talk Show have announced they’re dropping a debut EP.

Titled ‘These People’, the four track effort will arrive on 27th March via Council Records. Following up on their first two tracks, ‘Fast and Loud’ and ‘Ankle Deep (In A Warm Glass of Water)’, it’s previewed by a brand new cut, ‘Banshee’.

Frontman Harrison Swann explains: “At its core, ‘Banshee’ is a frustrated lovelorn tale. We didn’t want Banshee to feel depressing or hopeless, more heartfelt and ardent. I wanted the lyrics and song to progress through a relationship which brings no resolution, nor closure for the protagonist. Focused on melodic guitar lines and the rhythm section supporting the lead vocal, it helped us to create an uplifting track with a melancholic undertone.”

The news comes alongside a new batch of UK tour dates. You’ll be able to catch Talk Show at:

APRIL
17 Nice ‘N’ Sleazy, Glasgow
18 YES, Manchester
20 Bodega Social Club, Nottingham
22 The Crofters Rights, Bristol
23 Lafayette, London
24 The Green Door Store, Brighton
