Taylor Swift joined Bon Iver on stage last night for their performance of ‘folklore’ cut, ‘exile’

Bon Iver are currently touring the UK, and brought in a special guest for last night’s show – Taylor Swift joined the band on-stage for their collaborative track, ‘exile’.

The band were performing last night, October 26th, at London’s OVO Arena Wembley when they were joined by two surprise guests for their live rendition of ‘exile’, a track from Taylor Swift’s 2020 LP, ‘folklore’. The track features Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon on shared vocal duties, as well as earning him a co-writing credit.

Swift joined Vernon on stage as he began the first few verses of the song, with The National’s Aaron Dessner also appearing on stage; the musician produced the track, as well as the entirety of ‘folklore’ and its sister record, ‘evermore’. This is the first time that ‘exile’ has been performed live in concert with both singers present.

Swift’s London appearance comes just days after the release of her new album, ‘Midnights’, which has already gone on to shatter records – it was quickly declared to be the most-streamed album in a single day in Spotify history, and is currently on track to top the UK charts this week.

Dork’s 5-star review described the album as “a late-night record and delivering an album’s worth of the hazy, fluorescent moments that peppered her big pop trio before.”

Taylor Swift’s recent ‘Bejeweled’ music video has teased that the singer-songwriter’s next release could be a ‘Taylors Version’ rerecording of 2010’s ‘Speak Now’ – catch up on all the hints and clues here.
