Taylor Swift’s videos watched more than most TV shows, study reveals

The 'Bad Blood' clip was watched more in one week than all but one US network TV show.
A new study has revealed that the music videos of Taylor Swift are more watched than most TV shows.

Nielsen SoundScan and Vevo teamed up to find that Swift’s music videos had a bigger audience than all but one US network TV show during the week she debuted her ‘Bad Blood’ video. Only NCIS: Los Angeles earned bigger viewing numbers that week.

Elsewhere, Drake’s videos were watched by nearly six million US viewers during the week ‘Hotline Bling’ was released, and Rihanna had a similar number on debuting her ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’. The study found a new video from the star would be twice as likely to reach an 18-49 year old than the stateside version of Big Brother.
