The 1975 have properly, officially cancelled their London show at Finsbury Park

There's no new date just yet.

The 1975 have properly, officially cancelled their summer London show.

The band were set to put on their own one-day event in Finsbury Park on 11th July, with a massive supporting cast including Charli XCX, Clairo, Pale Waves, Phoebe Bridgers, Beabadoobee, Cavetown and Deb Never.

As well as a packed line-up, the show was set to be “the greenest Finsbury Park has ever seen”, according to a press release. A number of measures were planned, including sustainable fuel, sustainable merch, digital tickets, and loads of tree planting.

“We are working hard with The 1975 to try to get a new show locked in for 2021,” reads a statement. “Watch this space.”

In the meantime, The 1975’s new album ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ is set for release on 22nd May.
