The 1975 have covered Take That’s ‘A Million Love Songs’ in a BBC Live Lounge special

Recorded at BBC Maida Vale Studios, the band also performed their recent single, ‘I’m In Love With You’.

The 1975 have taken to Maida Vale Studios for a BBC Live Lounge Special, performing ‘I’m In Love With You’ as well as a cover of Take That’s ‘A Million Love Songs’.

Announced this morning via social media, the two live renditions debuted on BBC Radio 1 and are available to watch back now.

The performance is in promotion of their new album, ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’, which is out this Friday, October 14th.

It is the band’s fifth record, and follows four previous number-one charting LPs;  fortunately, it lives up to the hype. Dork’s 5-star review describes it as, “a brilliant edit of everything that came before, cast in the self-realisation and not-so-quiet confidence of just how good they can be” – you can check out the full review here.
