The 1975 have taken to Maida Vale Studios for a BBC Live Lounge Special, performing ‘I’m In Love With You’ as well as a cover of Take That’s ‘A Million Love Songs’.
Announced this morning via social media, the two live renditions debuted on BBC Radio 1 and are available to watch back now.
The performance is in promotion of their new album, ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’, which is out this Friday, October 14th.
It is the band’s fifth record, and follows four previous number-one charting LPs; fortunately, it lives up to the hype. Dork’s 5-star review describes it as, “a brilliant edit of everything that came before, cast in the self-realisation and not-so-quiet confidence of just how good they can be” – you can check out the full review here.
