Matty Healy has shared a The 1975 demo titled ‘Loads of Crisps’, and promised more to follow.
The track was shared as part of an Instagram reel, showcasing the ‘zine the band are releasing around their recent single ‘Happiness’. In the comments he confirmed the snack-based title.
It’s not the first time he’s put something out under the title ‘Loads of Crisps’. Back in 2019 he posted a picture of a painting also under the same name, which he claimed he was auctioning for charity.

It’s not the only news related to demos, though. Matty also posted about plans to release more over the coming months.
“We are just gonna put some demos from different eras out,” he wrote in his Instagram story. “From different eras. At some point in this era.”
He likes the word era.
“I’m more consistent (don’t lie) now so we will do it cos there is sooo many and could be nice vinyl,” he continued.
The 1975 are set to drop their new single ‘I’m In Love With You’ tomorrow (Thursday 1st September). They’ll also be revealing new UK tour dates.
Last weekend, they headlined Reading & Leeds festivals. You can read our review of the Reading leg – their first UK show in over two years – here.
