The 1975‘s Matty Healy joined Phoebe Bridgers on stage last night (Tuesday 26th July) in London.

The frontman appeared at the O2 Academy Brixton for the final closing segment of main set closer ‘I Know The End’ – a song which has seen Phoebe joined by the likes of Arlo Parks, Clairo, Maggie Rogers and Rina Sawayama.

It’s not the first time the two have shared a stage – last year Matty made a surprise appearance to support Phoebe at her show at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, the two teaming up to cover ‘Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America’, the song Birdgers features on from The 1975’s 2020 album ‘Notes on a Conditional Form’.

You can check out footage from last night’s London show below.

The 1975 are dropping their next single in just over a week.

Fans have – as usual – spotted a new poster in London, featuring the title of a new track, ‘Happiness’, and a date – 3rd August. That’s next Wednesday, ‘FYI’.

‘Happiness’ will be the second song to come from The 1975’s new album ‘Being Funny in a Foreign Language’, set to drop on 14th October via Dirty Hit. It’ll follow up on this month’s first taster, ‘Part of the Band’.
