The Bay Rays have delivered another slice of irrisitable guitar-pop with ‘Satisfaction’, with a 60s-themed video to boot
Completed with call cards and screaming masses, things seem to get a bit hectic fast – as the pressure well and truly mounts. Full of catchy ‘ooohs’ and full-throttle indie pulls, it’s an indicator of the direction The Bay Rays are heading in (bit of a clue, it’s the opposite of down).
Frontman Harry Nicoll summed up the track, saying “it’s about wanting to escape your social anxieties. You break down barriers, but then you don’t like the person you’re becoming”.
‘Satisfaction’ sits as the title track of their upcoming debut EP, set for release on March 29th – the same day they headline a special headline show at London’s Sebright Arms. With slots throughout the summer already lined up at Live At Leeds, The Great Escape and more – it’s best to get riding on The Bay Rays wave right about now.
