Nothing says the end of 2018 quite like the BBC Sound Of 2019, with this year’s longlist announced for the whole world to see.
Looking to follow in the footsteps of previous winners Adele, Ellie Goulding, Sigrid and Years & Years amongst many others – the 10 acts span across a vast spectrum of genres, with the likes of Sea Girls, Slowthai, King Princess and Flohio all tipped for 2019 from a pool of 136 critics.
The shortlisted five will be revealed from January 7th, with the eventual winner announced on January 11th. So don’t make any plans yeah?!
