The Charlatans are putting on their own ten-day festival

They'll have loads going on.
The Charlatans have announced they’re putting on a festival in their hometown, Northwich.

The ten-day event will include four headline shows of their own, on Monday 14th, Wednesday 16th, Thursday 17th and Friday 18th May, at Northwich Memorial Court.

They’ll also be hosting an exhibition of rare Charlatans memorabilia, a week of live bands at The Salty Dog pub, plenty of aftershow parties, a vinyl record fair, film screenings and podcasts.

“We’re really excited about our four shows in Northwich,” the band explain. “We rehearsed at The Memorial Court for our last tour and we all pretty much said at the same time that we had to play there.

“As with most Charlatans events, we thought of lots of stuff we could do around the gigs – so we called some friends, found a space for an exhibition, borrowed a 1930s cinema and the results ended up pretty mind-blowing. See you in Northwich in May?”

All ticketed events will go on sale on Saturday 3rd March via Dice. Have a gander here.
