The Cribs have unveiled a one-off video performance of ‘Men’s Needs…’ favourite ‘Be Safe’

Recorded from different locations, it features a reunion with Sonic Youth’s Lee Ranaldo

Dropping their first live performance in nearly two years, The Cribs have unveiled a one-off live session of fan-favourite ‘Be Safe’

The track, originally released on their acclaimed third album ‘Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever’, is given an updated live reworking – with the band reuniting with Sonic Youth’s Lee Ranaldo who appeared on the original with a spoken-word tale

Talking about the performance, the band said: “Got the old band back together (despite being separated by thousands of miles!) for a fashionably late isolation video, our first ‘live’ performance in almost 2 years! Feel like the title of the song is quite pertinent at the minute, and hope you’re all looking out for each other. Love, The Cribs.”
