The Cribs have dropped that brand new track they’ve been teasing us with.
Titled ‘In Your Palace’, it’s one of the tracks the band recorded with legendary don’t-call-him-a-producer-recording-engineer-will-do Steve Albini at his equally notable Electric Audio studios in Chicago, and sees Wakefield’s finest returning to something closer to the raw brilliance of their debut album, but with a grungier edge.
The band’s sessions with Albini have been talked about for a few years now – with work beginning way back in 2011. They’ve long talked about turning them into an album proper, so it’s probably a good idea to keep eyes peeled, just in case, and check out ‘In Your Palace’ below.
