The Dare has released his new ‘The Sex EP’.
The EP, which includes the already popular tracks ‘Girls’ and ‘Good Time,’ also introduces two new songs, ‘Sex’ and ‘Bloodwork,’.
The Dare is the solo project of vocalist, songwriter, and producer Harrison Patrick Smith. “I just wanted to write something funny and true about my relationship to sex,” he explains. “It’s also the most time-honoured and classic theme of rock and roll, so I had to do it. The other, less horny songs are coming later.”
The Dare is set to make his headline debuts in New York and Los Angeles with four sold-out shows. Tonight, May 19th, he will take the stage at Manhattan Artspace, followed by a performance at Baby’s All Right in New York on Saturday, May 20th. Fans in Los Angeles can catch The Dare at El Cid on June 8th and 9th.
In addition to these headline shows, The Dare is also scheduled to perform at FWB Fest and Portola later this year.
