Good things come to those who wait. That’s how the saying goes, right? Well, Bastille fans. Your expectations should be sky high right now.
Yep, this month Dan and co. finally drop ‘Doom Days’, the third album we expected to arrive last year, when they returned with the shiny-as-all-hell ‘Quarter Past Midnight’. In-between now and then, they’ve scored another worldwide mega-hit alongside a bloke with a KFC bargain bucket on his head, and the world around them has continued to go to absolute shit.
They’re not letting the last part get them down, though. As they hit the cover of this issue of Dork there’s a spark of nihilistic defiance that runs through their latest record. The world may be burning, but it’s giving off some awesome lighting, right?
