The Goon Sax have a dance about in their new video for ‘Make Time 4 Love’

The Aussie group have a new album on the way.

The Goon Sax have released a new video for ‘Make Time 4 Love’.

The track’s taken from the group’s new album ‘We’re Not Talking’, which will be released on 14th September via Wichita Recordings.

“This song is about learning to live with yourself and accepting that everyone’s impulses seem irrational to someone else,” says Louis Forster. “It’s also about realising that love is at odds with the rest of your life and admitting defeat. head hung. We were listening to a lot of ESG and Liquid Liquid around that time so the song ended up kind of dancy!

“All the melody to this song was just really funny to me. We laughed a lot, particularly when writing the part for the chorus but then the words were very earnest because there was a lot going on that I couldn’t really push aside to write about something else. “I’m gonna see my baby And it make me feel moody” would probably have done the trick.”

The Aussie trio are also over in the UK later this September and October for a few shows in support of the release:

SEPTEMBER
17 Hug & Pint, Glasgow UK
18 Headrow House, Leeds UK
20 Hare & Hounds, Birmingham UK

OCTOBER
16 The Garage, London UK
