The Hara have revealed a new single ‘Die In The City’

It follows up on previous effort 'Fool & The Thief'.

The Hara have revealed a brand new single ‘Die In The City’.

Speaking about the track, frontman Josh Taylor explains: “This song is all centred around the negative effects social media can have on you and from our perspective as a band we felt so stuck in a routine of living our career through our phones, constantly posting and dealing with the effects of reaching millions of people for the first time (good and bad) over lockdown and having no live shows to look forward, all that just gave us this overwhelming feeling of doubt, anger & frustration all of which we touch on in detail throughout this song.”

Explaining the band’s mantra, Josh continues, “We want to show everyone that despite it all, despite what the statistics say, despite what people say or any of that social media acceptance bullsh*t, it really doesn’t matter. Thousands of people will reject you for being different but there are 10 times over that amount who will accept you and who are feeling just like you. If people can become a part of such a glorious resistance through our music, then that’s our mission”

The band have a couple of live dates upcoming. They’ll play Leeds’ Key Club this Saturday (23rd October), with a sold-out Glasgow show on 14th November at King Tuts.
