Check out the new video for ‘Lilo’ from The Japanese House, feat. Marika Hackman

The song was inspired by one of Amber Bain’s best friends encouraging her into a new relationship.

The Japanese House has dropped a new video for her latest pop hit, ‘Lilo’.

The clip features her ex-girlfriend – and fellow former Dork cover star, ‘FYI’ – Marika Hackman. The song was inspired by one of Amber Bain’s best friends encouraging her into a new relationship.

“[It’s about] how, to me, her every movement – paired with her approach to life – seemed as serene as the image of a lilo floating across a swimming pool,” she explains. “It is a reminder to me that I am good at falling in love and I can survive falling out of it. I’m good at falling.”

It precedes a November tour, which features seven UK dates, including a night at Scala in London.
