The Jesus And Mary Chain announce UK + Irish tour for 2017

It’ll accompany the band’s first album in over 18 years - ‘Damage And Joy’
It’s been a busy week for The Jesus And Mary Chain. First, news that the iconic band will be releasing their first new album in over 18 years and now an extended run of UK and Irish tour dates for 2017.

The Scots will kick things off on March 23rd in Newcastle, before hitting more places than a boxer with nights in Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Oxford and London amongst others.

You’re almost certain to hear a bunch of fresh new material at the shows, especially with the dates falling nicely around the release of incoming new album ‘Damage And Joy’ on March 24th. The first track lifted from it, ‘Amputation’, was revealed yesterday and is brimming with all the swagger and punch of The Jesus And Mary Chain in full flight.
