The Killers are playing a tiny show tomorrow night, and it’s already sold out

They'll 'do' Glasgow's King Tut's after finishing their TRNSMT headline set, 'FYI'

You’ve already missed out on Tickets, probably, but The Killers are playing a tiny show tomorrow night (8th July).

The band will follow their headline set at TRNSMT with a special intimate show at Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut – a venue the band haven’t played since supporting stellastarr* back in 2004.

“We plan to play TRNSMT then right afterwards play King Tut’s”, drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr told The Daily Record.

“I’m curious to see what that will do to my brain. I think it will bring back memories…We were going to open it up to the public but worried about announcing it on stage on Sunday because of the level of interest and the amount of people arriving. It might be a hazard.”

As it is, tickets went on sale yesterday morning to those in the band’s fan club and TRNSMT attendees on a first come, first served basis. It sold out in one minute, with a spokesperson for King Tut’s claiming it was “the fastest selling show ever”.

If you’re planning on chancing it, promoters have asked that, if you don’t have a ticket, don’t turn up. You’re not getting in. You’ll have to make do with looping last year’s Killers turbo-banger ‘The Man’ instead.
