The Let Go have dropped a new video for their brand new track ‘Beabadoobee’

The Let Go have dropped a new video for their brand new track ‘Beabadoobee’.

Speaking to Dork around their new mixtape ‘Delete My Feelings’ for our latest Artist’s Guide, Cole explains: ‘Beabadoobee’ is about being so unhappy in a relationship that you look to someone you admire instead. Because the melodies are so rhythmic, it was so fun to make. I adore making melody lines that are really rhythmically driven and have movement.”

That’s the song ‘Beabadoobee’. Beabadoobee herself isn’t about being unhappy in a relationship. We’re sure Beabadoobee is a delight and brings joy to everyone around her.

“For me,” Scout adds, “I wanted to make the instrumental feel like you’re falling. With the heavily reverbed guitar, droning and detuned synths, and the pitch shift at the end, the track is meant to give off an unsettling feeling, like the turning point of a toxic relationship.”

The ‘Delete My Feelings’ mixtape drops today (18th March). ‘Delete My Feelings’ is a bunch of excerpts put together about a certain relationship that I experienced,” Cole reveals. “Each song is a certain feeling from a certain time in my life. We both wanted to capture those feelings in each song and make those who listen be able to feel them too.”

You can check out the video for ‘Beabadoobee’ below.
