The Linda Lindas have announced their new album 'GOTTA GET OUT', due for release on 28th August via Reprise / Warner Records. Alongside the news, the Los Angeles band have shared new single 'Closer', which features Paramore's Hayley Williams.
Originally started by Bela Salazar and Lucia de la Garza, 'Closer' evolved into a full-band collaboration after Williams joined the group in the studio, helping to write the bridge before they all headed to Halloween Horror Nights together.
Speaking about the track, Bela and Lucia say: "'Closer' is about feeling like you're losing control of time, and watching yourself grow older from afar. Lately, we've been realising how important it is to stay present, especially when our lives feel constantly in motion. It feels perfect that Hayley Williams was down to collaborate on this song with us, because we've been fans of her throughout so many of her different phases - and she's seen us grow up over the last ten years! We'll always be honoured that we got to write and get emo with the queen of emo herself."
The album follows 2024's 'No Obligation' and also includes recent single 'Burning Out'. Later this year, The Linda Lindas will head out on a West Coast tour supporting Bleachers and will also appear at Tom Morello's Power To The People Festival.

They've been one of the UK's most thrilling live bands for years. Now, with debut album 'Cannonball', Man/Woman/Chainsaw are proving the wait was worth it.
