In addition to news of their farewell tour this morning, The Maccabees brothers Felix and Hugo White have been named new MS Society Ambassadors.
It’s in recognition of their commitment to raising awareness about multiple sclerosis, with their mum having suffered from the condition while they were growing up.
Felix says: “It’s a great honour for both Hugo and I to be chosen to be MS Society Ambassadors. Our mum, Lana, had MS throughout our childhood, so we have experienced how difficult living with it is and how heart-breaking the effects of it can be. Being able to share that means a lot to us and we are looking forward to continuing to help the MS Society in any way we can.”
The MS Society has nine Ambassadors in total, including JLS’s Oritsé Williams and broadcaster Scott Mills. For more information, visit mssociety.org.uk/ambassadors.
