The National debut spiralling new number ‘Turtleneck’ live

Giving us a cheeky whiff of new material on the horizon, The National have debuted fresh number ‘Turtleneck’.

Appearing at a Planned Parenthood/All Access Coalition benefit concert in Washington DC the night before Trump’s inauguration, the band burst through a set that spanned across their career before pointing to the future with the blistering highs of ‘Turtleneck’ – the title happily confirmed with the band’s set-list.

We’ve been waiting for this new album from The National for a while now, with their previous LP ‘Trouble Will Find Me’ landing back in 2013. And after storming Latitude last summer, we’re expecting some more joyous nights over the next year – especially if ‘Turtleneck’ is anything to go by.
