The National have shared a new single ‘New Order T-Shirt’

In addition to the single, The National have released an actual New Order t-shirt alongside the iconic Manchester band to accompany the release.

The National have released a new single from their upcoming album, ‘First Two Pages of Frankenstein’, due for release on 28th April via 4AD.

‘New Order T-Shirt’ is, according to Aaron Dessner, about “everyone I’ve ever known or loved”.

In addition to the single, The National have released an actual New Order t-shirt alongside the iconic Manchester band to accompany the release, with a portion of the proceeds from the collab going to a charity of their choice.

Speaking on the release, Aaron Dessner said: “There’s a simplicity to ‘New Order T-Shirt’ that reminds me of our earlier records, but with the full maturity and experience we have now. It feels like a really important song for the future of our band.”

The ‘First Two Pages of Frankenstein’ album will feature an eclectic range of collaborations from the likes of Sufjan Stevens, Taylor Swift and Phoebe Bridgers.
