Last month, we did two special covers on one magazine. We liked it. So, we’ve decided to do it again. February’s edition of Dork is packing two cover stars on each copy, in a fancy reversible front-and-back style.
Bombay Bicycle Club have been away. They did their own thing for a while, giving birth to rather excellent, interesting and intriguing solo projects. Now, though, the indie kingpins are back in the saddle. Their new album ‘Everything Else Has Gone Wrong’ is quite probably their best to date. With that in mind, obviously we’re delighted to welcome them to the cover of Dork for the first time.
It should be no shock to anyone that we’re huge fans of The Big Moon too. We gave them one of our, and their, very first covers back in 2016, while they were still in the studio working on their debut album ‘Love In The 4th Dimension’. Now, they’re back with its follow up, ‘Walking Like We Do’, and it’s even more spectacular. You may have already read our five-stars-out-of-five review. In the new issue, you’ll be able to get the full story behind it.
Elsewhere this month, we’re painting our own rainbow with the fantastic Soccer Mommy, questioning real life with Blossoms, going deep with Mura Masa, poptastic with Georgia and sweaty with Harry Styles. HMLTD talk finally getting that debut album out, Gengahr are free to push their expectations, and Drug Store Romeos, Claud and The Wants say hiya in Hype. And that’s just the start.
