The new issue of Dork is out now, featuring MØ, Black Honey, Pale Waves and more

There's Interpol, Sports Team, Estrons and a whole bunch more, too.

Welcome to the final stretch. It may only feel like five minutes ago we were welcoming in 2018, but now Reading & Leeds has heralded the end of our summer festival season, it’s full steam ahead to Christmas from here.

That means the big beasts are roaming – no more ferocious than this month’s poppermost cover star, . With a second album ‘Forever Neverland’ due imminently, she’s not alone in planning something big as the nights draw in. We’re absolutely delighted to have her front up our new issue, out now.

Elsewhere this month we’ve finally got our hands on Black Honey’s debut album, which they’re only too happy to delve deep into. Estrons have an equally fizz-popping first record to show, while Interpol provide a bit of experience.

And then there’s Sports Team, dragging us all to Margate for a good old dance on one of the hottest days of the years. In some ways, summer never dies.

There’s also new interviews with the likes of Suede, Hippo Campus, AURORA, Black Peaks, Fatherson and Joyce Manor. We spend a day with The Joy Formidable and investigate the world of mime (yes, mime) with Villagers, plus introduce you to The Candescents, Grand Pax and The Aces in this month’s Hype.

We talk to Heather Baron-Gracie as Pale Waves‘ debut album ‘My Mind Makes Noises’ finally arrives, fronting up our brand new release-guide-slash-reviews-section Incoming. Add to that every damn thing that happened at Reading & Leeds – apart from the bits Kendrick wouldn’t let us take pictures of, but definitely including the mighty Brockhampton – and you’ve got yourself an issue. Pre-order a copy below, subscribe here or pick one up from record stores, venues and retail outlets around the UK now.
