The new issue of Dork is out now, featuring Shame!

There's also Beabadoobee, Ashton Irwin, Boy Pablo, The Cribs, Will Joseph Cook and loads more.

It’s fair to say ‘recent events’ have made life somewhat difficult, Dear Reader. Things move around, plans change, stuff gets cancelled. It’s with the spirit of such mayhem we’re delighted to welcome back Shame to the cover of Dork this month for our new issue, out now.

We’ve been waiting for their second album for what feels like an age – even if, when you look at it, it’s actually a perfectly reasonable amount of time. Now, with the Really Bloody Brilliant single ‘Alphabet’ cleansing the palette and more to follow ‘very soon’, there’s something to actually get our teeth into. Sure, we may have had a photoshoot that locked down two of the band on the day (pandemics are great, huh? – Ed), but that sense of chaos only heightens the excitement of their return, yeah? Thought so.

They’re not the only big hitters in another packed issue. After all, you don’t get much more massive than a member of world-conquering types 5SOS. As Ashton Irwin drops his debut solo album ‘Superbloom’, we get heavy on the story behind it. Long term Dork fave Beabadoobee is also in too, with her album ‘Fake It Flowers’ finally here. You’ll already know it’s brilliant.

Elsewhere this month, we’ve also got Boy Pablo, The Cribs, Marika Hackman, Will Joseph Cook, Sundara Karma, Connie Constance, Fickle Friends, APRE, Bombay Bicycle Club’s Ed Nash, Nilufer Yanya, Black Foxxes, mxmtoon, iDKHOW and loads, loads more.

In Hype, we introduce you to Bow Anderson, Hope Tala, Molly Payton, TV Priest, Tungz, Junodream and T Truman, plus we do some proper investigative ‘journalism’ with a 12-page investigation into the state of live music, as it attempts to find a way through a devastating year. With contributions from Glass Animals, Dream Wife, Alfie Templeman, Drug Store Romeos, Sinead O’Brien, Bloxx, Rachel Chinouriri, Lauran Hibberd, FEET, LIFE, Indoor Pets, Ditz and a whole load more industry movers-and-indeed-shakers, it’s an essential read.

So yeah. There’s a lot going on.

Available to order today. you can grab a copy now. Please remember, in a COVID world, deliveries may take a little longer, especially if you are ordering from outside the UK.
