The next track from The 1975 is coming next week

We'll be getting the latest cut from 'Notes On A Conditional Form' on Thursday, 16th January.

It’s official – we’re getting another track from The 1975 next week.

The band have confirmed they’ll be debuting a new track – the latest from forthcoming album ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ – as Hottest Record on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show next Thursday, 16th January. There’s also the suggestion they’ll be some sort of ‘live’ element, too.

This matches up with info that leaked onto the internet late last year. See. We’re good internet detectives.

It follows a tweet over the weekend asking for couples to submit their details to be in a new video for the band, which is set to film on Saturday, 18th January. There’s speculation that’s ‘Me and You Together Song’, which frontman Matty Healy talked about to NME. “It’s really lovely,” he explained. “It’s sad of course, but it’s really lovely. I wrote it for that film I started writing…but I haven’t done anything about it besides make this.”

There’s also been a hint at another song title, ‘The End’, from manager and label boss Jamie Oborne. Ominious, eh?

You can check out all the ‘info’ below.
