The Night Cafe return with stunning ambition on new cut ‘Turn’ and announce a huge 2018 UK tour

  • Dork News Desk
  • November 16, 2017
If you’ve had your eyes on this ‘ol website here at Dork, you’ll have seen that we’re big fans of The Night Cafe, each fresh track they bring to the table lighting the fires beneath us. You’ll remember ‘Felicity’, ‘You Change With The Seasons’, ‘The Way Of Mary’ lighting your ear-buds up with ready-made anthemic charm. It seems like things are really heating up, with no better example than new number ‘Turn’.

Taken from their upcoming second EP (the follow up to this year’s ‘Get Away From The Feeling’), ‘Turn’ steps into boldly ambition with staggering ease. Taking that emotional clout and swarming warmth from their first steps and dialling things up, it’s an ever-so moreish indie delight from a band stepping out into the open with the sort of soundtrack that’ll have thousands around the country pulled into their orbit.

Sweet hooks, rolling through like a dog out of the traps and immediately promising something truly vital for 2018 – The Night Cafe are blossoming into a band of stellar ambition.

Before 2018 comes a-knocking (with that second EP due to land early in the year), the band are rounding things out on the road supporting fellow Dork faves Blaenavon through November – calling into some pretty big venues in the process. They’ll return in 2018 with their biggest headline UK tour to date, including shows in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Nottingham, Leeds, Bristol and a hometown show in Liverpool on February 3rd amongst others. You can grab tickets and further details here.
