The Snuts played ‘Gloria’ at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, and it looked like this – watch

It's the first song on their just set up label, Happy Artist Records.

There have been festivals all over the UK this weekend. From Live At Leeds In The Park to Wide Awake and Slam Dunk – both North and South legs – there’s barely a park or field not packed with bands dropping bangers.

Not to be left out, Scotland has had its own extravaganza in the form of BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend. Featuring some of the biggest names on the planet, it’s not been short of Dork friendly artists.

The Snuts released ‘Gloria’ earlier this week. The single is the first to come via their newly set up label, Happy Artist Records. “This song is all about finding the beauty and romance in the most normal of things.” explains frontman Jack Cochrane. “As a band, our lives have never really transformed out of the boundaries of normal everyday existence, and we truly value the thoughts and feelings of the average person and how our lives look. We’ve never been more excited to present a song by The Snuts that captures such a raw and genuine intention, whilst making you want to get up and dance with your loved ones.”
