The Streets, Dizzee Rascal, Kaiser Chiefs and more announced for new Drive-In Concert Series

The nationwide series of shows will take place across the summer, just get in your car okay?

The Streets, Dizzee Rascal, Kaiser Chiefs and more have been announced in the first wave of names confirmed for a special new nationwide series of live shows this summer – Utilita Live From The Drive-In

Following on from previous viral clips you’ll have seen from around the world, the shows will feature artists performing full shows in locations up and down the UK – with access to the shows available through rolling up in a lovely four-wheel drive. Each car will receive it’s own designated area, so you don’t have to try and open up a pit whilst all sat with your seatbelts on… you can get out of the car…

Kicking off at the end of July, the Drive-In venues will be opening up across the UK – with locations in London, Birmingham, Bolton, Bristol, Cheltenham (at the races!), Edinburgh, Leeds, Lincoln, Liverpool, Milton Keynes, Newmarket (at the races!) and Teeside. Each venue will be hosting a range of shows at different points during days, whether that’s morning, early afternoon, evening or late evening slots!

Announced as a part of the first wave of names playing a range of dates across the UK – The Streets, Dizzee Rascal and Kaiser Chiefs are also joined by the likes of Gary Numan (wonder if he has a song for this…), The Snuts, The Zutons, Ash, Camp Bestival Live, Tony Hadley and Skindred – with many more dates and artists being announced soon

For full details, show dates for each artist, FAQ’s and more – head to the website here. Tickets for the shows are on sale from Monday 22nd June at 10am

Until then, look – they made a handy video to show what it’s going to be like. Honk if you’re ‘wheely’ excited?!! (We’ll see ourselves out…)
