The Strokes have been confirmed for next year’s Bilbao BBK Live.
A press release from the Spanish festival says the band will “kick off their global comeback” at the event, which has also signed up Thom Yorke, Suede, Brockhampton, Princess Nokia, Idles, Nils Frahm, Hot Chip, Shame and more.
The New York band have been teasing their new album for ages now, with guitarist Nick Valensi claiming back in 2016 that “we are working on music and we want to hopefully put music out next year,” followed by Albert Hammond Jr. saying they “are not in the studio recording” last summer. They were previously rumoured for Glastonbury 2019, too.
Bilbao BBK Live will take place from 11th – 13th July.
