The Wombats have released a buzzy new single, ‘Bee-Sting’

The new tune follows the announcement of a brand new UK tour.

The Wombats have released a new single called ‘Bee-Sting’.

The tune follows on from their Main Stage sets at Reading & Leeds over the weekend, the sort-of recent release of new album ‘Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life’, and news of an upcoming UK tour.

“I think the song is again a bit of an homage to the 90s, a bit of a psychedelic nod to early Dandy Warhols, maybe,” says Murph. “Our UK tour in March/April was probably my favourite tour ever, but it feels like this one is going to go off even more. Wembley is going to be a real moment for us!”

The January / February run is six-dates long with nights in Glasgow, Leeds, Newport, Bournemouth, Birmingham and a whopping gig at London’s Wembley Arena:

JANUARY
25 Glasgow, O2 Academy
26 Leeds, First Direct Arena
28 Newport, Centre
29 Bournemouth, O2 Academy
31 Birmingham, O2 Academy

FEBRUARY
01 London, SSE Arena
