The Wombats have announced a big ol’ tour for March 2018

  • Dork News Desk
  • November 10, 2017
The Wombats are heading out on the road next spring.

The run will come just after the release of upcoming album ‘Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life’, which is due on 9th February via Kobalt Music Recordings, preceded by new single ‘Lemon To A Knife Fight’.

“I wanted to make an album that had more swagger, was a bit more laid back, something that wasn’t punching you in the face every time you listen to it,” says Murph. “On every level, musically and interpersonally, we’re much closer.

“The last album was about me meeting someone and my life going upside down in Los Angeles, partying too hard and getting myself in trouble. This album is about me battling against that, trying to live an adult life. And failing.”

The tour will visit:

MARCH

20 O2 Academy Newcastle, Newcastle Upon Tyne

21 Rock City, Nottingham

23 O2 Institute Birmingham, Birmingham

24 Manchester Academy, Manchester

27 Alexandra Palace, London

28 O2 Academy Bristol, Bristol

29 O2 Guildhall Southampton, Southampton

Listen to ‘Lemon to a Knife Fight’ below.

Very very very excited to announce we’ll be going on tour across the UK & Ireland in March 2018! Pre-sale opens on Wednesday 9am and the General on sale starts Friday 9am!
