The Wombats have announced their biggest UK headline show to date.

Following up on last week’s new single, ‘Method To The Madness’, the band have announced they’ll play a special one off ‘All The Hits’ show at London’s O2 Arena on 15th May 2022.

Promising a “career spanning greatest hits set”, pre-sale tickets for the date go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, 9th June, with general sale following at 9am on Friday, 11th June.

‘Method To The Madness’ is The Wombats’ first single since 2018’s Top 3 album ‘Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life’.

“‘Method To The Madness’ is about trying to find patterns within chaos and ultimately giving up, and letting go. Some of the lyrics are lifted from my own honeymoon experience – walking around European cities, being amongst tourists whilst simultaneously being one myself, and generally blagging it with last minute hotel bookings. Feeling excitement but still being fully aware that nothing much has changed,” Murph explains.
