The xx are giving out tickets for a tour that hasn’t been announced yet…

Who needs music sites eh?! But it looks like it’ll be a busy arena-filled 2017
With ‘On Hold’ blaring around at Dork HQ on repeat more than an Only Fools & Horses Christmas Special, The xx have taken a different route when it comes to announcing some hotly anticipated live shows.

With festival dates in South America and a string of Eastern European shows already announced, avid fans of the band have been finding some bloody huge clues heading through their letterbox – with fans receiving invitations and free tickets to previously unannounced shows.

Piece by piece it’s coming together – thanks to good ol’ social media, but the dates range across the world.

Now as seen from the last two posts, the only UK date mentioned so far is a headline show on March 4th at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena – so it looks like arenas are beckoning. It’ll follow the band’s hotly anticipated third album ‘I See You’ – set for release on January 13th.

We’re just going to pop off and wait by the mailbox now, see you in a few days…
